- Season chicken thighs with Papa Joe’s Salt
- Sauté chicken in a skillet with olive oil until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté onion until soft and then add 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of apple cider. Cool for 10 min until liquid is reduced by half
- Add apple slices (2 apples), 4 Sage leaves and 2 sprigs of Thyme. Simmer about 2 min.
- Add another cup of broth and another cup of apple cider.
- Return chicken to the pan and turn heat to medium. Cool for about 15 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- Optional: remove chicken from the skillet and add a couple tablespoons of butter to sauce.
- Pour mixture over chicken with your favorite pasta. Season lightly with Papa Joes! Enjoy!
