Ingredients (serves 4)
-
1½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
-
3 tablespoons melted butter
-
½–1 teaspoon Papa Joe’s Salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ cup grated Parmesan (more if you want a thicker crust)
Instructions
-
Preheat:
Heat your oven to 425°F. -
Prep the pan crust:
Line a sheet pan with parchment.
Pour the melted butter onto the parchment and swirl it around.
Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the butter.
Add Papa Joe’s Salt and black pepper right on top of the cheese layer. -
Place the sprouts:
Press each Brussels sprout cut-side down into the butter-cheese mixture.
Make sure each one has contact — that’s how you get the crispy crust. -
Roast:
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy and the sprouts are tender. -
Serve:
Let them cool for 2–3 minutes so the crust firms up, then lift with a spatula.
Taste and add a final pinch of Papa Joe’s Salt if needed.
